Review content:
Steve Centouri talks a great game, but when all was said and done I would've been better off with my wife's lawyer. His office demonstrated no urgency in regards to ensuring that the opposing counsel's inquiries were being fulfilled or related to me, stretching the proceedings for a standard (no children, no shared property) divorce out to over two years. As an example, after hand delivering my tax return directly to his receptionist at his office, they ended up losing it and never informed me, leading to the judge finding that I was engaged in “fraudulent disposition”. After finally receiving the decree of dissolution that was exceedingly favorable to my ex-wife, it was directly stated that Centouri could have supplemented or submitted a new decree within two weeks of receipt...that he neglected to do. He also didn't respond to my ex-wife's China Doll affadavit that awarded three times the lawyer fees as was previously decreed, leaving me on the hook for that. And of course, he never responded to any of these complaints or concerns.
Basically, if you are willing to babysit him and do all the work of representing yourself while using him as an empty suit, then best of luck to you. Otherwise you'd be better off with someone who actually cares about the outcome of the case.
