I'm sure John Palazzo at Performance Landex probably excels at his various business pursuits but properly seasoned firewood is not one of them in my experience. The first time I ordered wood from him, he made it clear that the delivery was late in the season and that the wood was not seasoned properly, I said fine and let it sit for the summer and all was fine the next winter. THIS YEAR, I made sure I ordered early and he delivered unseasoned wood to me and passed it off as seasoned. The stuff is heavy and water logged. It doesn't burn unless I put a full sized Duraflame under it. he's a nice guy and all but I very unsatisfied with his product and disappointed with his deceptive business practices. This terminates the my business with him. Most people probably don't know the difference, but I harvested firewood for 14 years from my property in Wilton. I know. Be warned. Brett Thornton, Wilton
