If you look on line and see any good reviews for VCA Pike Creek - they are from
before 2016 --- they are NOT that quality any longer.
I have taken my 3 dogs to "Pike Creek Animal Hospital" for over 10 years - now they are "VCA Pike Creek" -- completely different --none of the vets from Pike Creek remain -- I took one of my dogs for a visit for an ear infection -- the vet could not even take her temperature!! She squealed and his response was "uh oh, I missed"!!! REALLY -- as a vet, the very least you should be able to do is take a dog's temperature!! And just where did he put the thermometer! Needless to say, we didn't get my dog's temperature that day.
Took another dog in for dental surgery -- when I picked her up, I went to pay the bill and noticed it was almost $200 more than the estimate I was given. When I looked at my original estimate, I noticed that they had put a $193.96 on the charges for dental evaluation and cleaning while she was under, but they noted that it would be done as a courtesy, and I would not be charged -- it was literally listed as "Courtesy" and $0.00 charge in the estimate. So when I noticed that I had been charged - I brought it up. The person at the desk went back to check on it and came back and told me basically too bad.
I now go a little further drive to a vet who used to work at Pike Creek when they actually cared and had some ethics --- that vet moved out of VCA Pike Creek. She's worth the extra drive.
I would NEVER recommend VCA Pike Creek -- and such a shame a they were wonderful in the past --- not anymore
