Review content:
My furnace went out at the end of December. I was referred to Andy's Statewide by American Home Shield. Andy's service man determined the problem was caused by a dirty air filter, which made it my fault. I can accept that. He also promised a 24-hour turn-around.\r \r Five days and three times as many phone calls later, with a recommendation from American Home Shield that I pursue legal action against Andy's Statewide, he finally came back with the missing piece. First I was told he was sick and didn't tell anyone to call me; then I was told it was a supplier problem. The repair man himself told me he couldn't believe how long it took the get the part.\r \r I was charged full price for the repairs after five days without heat in the middle of a Detroit winter.\r \r I will be taking Andy's Statewide to court. I wouldn't recommend this outfit to anyone under any circumstances. Pointing out that the invoice itself says ""24 Hour Emergency Service"" will get you nothing but a snotty retort from the ""Customer Service"" manager that ""we don't control our suppliers.""\r \r Well, Ford didn't make it's own tires during the Firestorm debacle, but they were ultimately responsible for it, weren't they?\r \r Stay tuned - I will post the outcome of the court case. Cons: Dishonest serivce people, rude management, complete disregard for the customer
