Businiess name:  JRP Plastering

Review content:
I worked with Joe from JRP Plastering on a 1978 home remodel. This project is being overseen by me and my husband. The remodel is a roof top to foundation project. JRP Plastering was hired to change the old mission style stucco to a smooth style stucco finish on the exterior, as well as resurfacing all the interior walls to a smooth finish. Well, JRP's work 'list' turned into so much more! JRP's work included: adding stone to the exterior, completing drywall repairs for all the rough electrical & plumbing, prepping walls for tile work, changing out door casings, fully removing old 'beadboard' style walls/ceilings and installing drywall with the same hand applied texture as done through out the house, and he even helped us obtain custom grilles for the exterior as well as a chimney cap/shroud. Joe's ideas were helpful and his pricing was competitive. He was timely with completing work, and his work and his crew kept things reasonably clean. He communicated on matters and got the job done. Any issues, we were able to work through them fairly and agreeably. If it's a huge job like this was, keep track of open work and be sure you agree in advance on exactly what is expected, and what is included in the pricing so you don't get surprised. Being clear up front seemed to work best to avoid confusion. Joe was great about helping will materials logistics too. I will use his services again in the future. Thanks JRP for a job well done.
