So, I brought my mother's hamster in three days ago. I know a lot of people don't view rodents as worth it to bring in but I could tell she was ill and she was a sweet little thing and so I thought, might as well give it a shot since if it's one thing this clinic has, it's non-outrageous prices. \r \r My hamster was pretty ill. When I brought her in, Dr. Reif checked her out and told me she had pneumonia and that he'd give me antibiotics for it. Then, he flips her over onto her back and listens to her heartbeat. As everyone knows, animals get stressed out at the vets and as a vet whose receptionist told me treats small animals, he must also know that rodents can bite. \r \r My hamster bit him and he dropped her to the floor. Anyone whose been to Dr. Reif's knows there's a weigh scale table that takes up at least a quarter of the room. Had he just been holding her over the table, she would have only fell a few inches. Instead, she fell from his hands to the floor - a several foot drop. From
