I just read the review from kathy d. and felt I needed to respond to her review. I have been coming to the Bark and Purr Pet Retreat for over 15 years and think it is a great place to keep your animals. Their staff is very courteous, friendly and very helpful. I have two Golden Retrievers and they get very excited every time I bring them here. In my opinion the owners have made great improvements and have carried on the tradition started by the previous owners Jack Hines and Jim Brooks, a home away from home for your pets. I would advise anyone reading these reviews to personally take a tour and speak to the owners and you will come to the same conclusion: a great place to board your pets.
