I live in Lincoln Park, Michigan. We had water back up into the basement from the floor drain. It was a Sunday (Mother's Day) and early evening. I didn't know any plumbers but I did remember seeing commercials and a sporadic Roto-Rooter service truck. So, I called them. The offices were all closed at the time, but I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day through the phone service. The lady who scheduled my appt. was very nice and friendly. The next day, the service tech came out at a time that was convenient to me. He was informative and offered me options on correcting the problem. I opted for the jetting of the main line. He was not able to perform the work at that time because I was not prepared - based on the time needed to do the job. So, we scheduled to have it done the next day after I returned home from work. So, the next day came, I waited 2 hours past my initial set up time. A rep from Roto-Rooter finally called and told me that the service men were all backed up and were not going to be able to make it. This was due to the fact that the day before the was very serve weather (tornados sitings, etc). So the service men got behind and the extra work rolled over onto the next day. So, I had to reschedule again for the next day at 3:30 p.m. A rep called me at 2:00 p.m. and told me that they would be able to come out 1 1/2 hours earlier. Yea! \r

The service tech (Kyle), was very knowledgeable and accommodating. He was able to run his lines to the drain by working all around to the back of the house, so his lines would not have to run through the house - a nice feature. He was knowledgeable, qualified, and efficient. A few hours later my main drain was cleared. He removed some roots the size of his fist. \r

It was hard going with very minimal water usage for 3 days but I know the job was done and it was done correctly. Kyle cleaned up perfectly. I really enjoyed that he was not one of those non-personable service techs. When I was talking to him or him to me - he gave full attention to the conversation - he listened. We all know when someone really isn't listening -- he is not one of those types. Roto-Rooter seems to have gone above and beyond on hiring techs that would represent their company well. :)\r

I am a happy customer!\r
