My son attends The Goddard School - Gilbertsville and has for about a year now. Let me start by saying that there are old reviews out there from before the new owner took over. Sal (the new owner) and his staff are amazing. Goddard and their staff are held to a higher standard than other pre-schools. I stress that this is a pre-school NOT a day care. There's a difference. Even in the nursery they have activities and curriculum which of course becomes more apparent as the children grow and move into the other rooms. It was important for me to send my son to a place that would teach him not just babysit him. Sal impresses me as he knows every parent and every child's name. He is extremely involved in the program and he is there everyday. You will see his enthusiasm the minute you meet him. The director Stefanie is also wonderful. We find that she is very involved with all of the children/classes and has brought in fresh ideas. My son has not experienced different teachers yet as he is st
