I went fishing this weekend as I biked up to land between the lakes and paris landing, and around. At paris landing at Lakeview Grocery /Esso/sports store and income tax preparation, about half mile out of the park on hwy. 79 I purchased a reel and also an inexpensive ""bamboo"" 3 section cane pole. Well, when I started fishing the metal section slide- in connectors came apart, as they weren't well glues onto the pole. In fact, maybe not even glued at all. So I took it back. Guy said I could have another one. I said well id rather just get my money back. Owner said Well If I gave people their money back whenever they were thru fishing I'd go broke . So I said you inferring I'm lying? He said . Not you, but some do. So I said ok pick me one out. Well, they were all defective, each one had the metal male and female slides for the sections come off. He said well, they are all like that take your pick.. I said Tell you what, you keep the money and the pole, as he seemed so desperate for every little penny for his business and had forgotten that people are important. He said Ok. So that's what you can expect at that establishment.
