Review content:
I had Lou for over 15 years. He was the best dog I ever had and when it was time to say good-bye DeLand Animal Hospital was there for us. I called the hospital and Lynn the receptionist remebered who we were. She sounded sympathetic and assured me that one of the doctors would call me back to discuss Lou's quality of life. When Dr Ulbrich called me, I spoke with her for almost an hour. She said that the decision to let Lou go would be up to us and she'd be there to support us either way. When she offered to come to our home to euthanize Lou, we felt a sense of peace. We knew it was his time, he couldn't get up any more and had stopped eating. Dr Ulbrich and her technician came to our home the following day.they treated us kindly and the entire process was very peaceful. We thank you for their genuine compassion and patience - we know Lou is grateful too.
