I tried to return an embroidered garden flag ($10 - 50% off) that shredded itself in less than 2 hours of flapping in the breeze. I didn't return to the store for 10 days after the sale (Feb 11 and Feb 1, respectively) due to an ice storm, and company visiting, and it's a 110 mile round trip by motorcycle. I did have the original sales receipt. The Hobby Lobby manager said, "I can't do anything for you." I said, "REALLY??!!". He said, "I can't resell it." I said, "I didn't expect you to resell it, but I expected you to stand behind your products." I said it just came apart after only 2 hours, and he said, "I don't buy that." So, over a $5 refund, he told me I was lying. I would not suggest that anyone boycott Hobby Lobby, but if there is the slightest possibility that a product could be defective, I would certainly buy instead from Target, Walmart, Amazon, or anyone other than Hobby Lobby in Corpus Christi.
