Review content:
Advent has a policy of charging you book time for EACH part replaced, even though the repairer does it all in the same amount of time. This leads to a very high repair bill if you need more than one part replaced. I had Advent come out last summer to fix my a/c. They replaced two parts and charged me $600.00 for 1 hour work. I complained and the owner said "that's how it works with our repair policy - I have to make a profit on repairs". I finally got two other contractors to look at their work and each said anything over $300.00 for the job was overcharging. Later when the a/c needed replacing, I DID not use Advent.
