I brought a cat home from the animal shelter. After a few days she became terribly ill. I came home from work to find she started vomiting, sore looking eyes, stopped eating and could not drag herself off the bed to the litter box. She simply couldn't move. \r \r I thought for sure nobody would be open at 7:30pm so I started calling all the vets in the area hoping to find someone. After calling about 8 vets I happened to call Christown Animal Hospital. Would you believe they answered the phone at 7:30pm and told me to bring her in right away?\r \r Once I got there I was told she had ear mites, fatty liver disease, dehydration and would need to be tested and hydrated. They brought her into another room, gave her an IV, took ear samples, tested them in their inhouse lab and applied the necessary medication. The entire visit only cost about $180 including antibiotics. \r \r They saved me a visit to an emergency animal hospital and possibly saved my cats life by properly diagnosing
