We had our septic pumped for the 1st time in our new home, last August 2009 after 4 years of use.. Kampbell's is local so I called him to do a clean-out. He said they pump it all out and hose the walls. As he was working, the neighbor asked to do his also. As to my surprise as I have my mechanical system maintenance done this year July, they recommend a clean-out. I said we just did last August, he said theres no way this was cleaned out completely. I called the people who installed it, to make sure everything is working properly. They said yes, but who ever did the pumping did not give you a thorough cleaning, there is no way this can be this full in less than a year, unless I had 10 people living here...which I do not. That is from 2 reputable companies that maintain and install septic systems. I realized I got ripped off. Then I found out, Kampell's has a truck that holds approx. 2200 gals.
