I just returned from my Uncle's visitation. There was a large crowd gathered at the beginning of the visitation time noted in the newspaper obit, mostly firefighters, and we waited for them to go on in. There were two rooms and we followed them into one. A man said that if we were not with the firefighters we should go to the other room. So we went to the back of that line. The rooms adjoined and the firefighters were in formation. The priest entered and began a prayer service. Everyone stepped forward, out of line and joined in. As it ended, we were not sure where to go. No director to be found. Everyone was confused and asking. The line was forming from two directions. Then the owner literally ran across the floor to prevent us from walking up to the family. He loudly told us in a rude voice that the line was back THERE. Now there were about forty people in line.
