I have been to the Auto Clinic a dozen times or more. I began to notice that their initial repair estimates were never accurate. After they started working on the car they always found one or two other things wrong with the car that "had" to be fixed immediately.\r
The last time I went there I needed brake work done so I asked them for an accurate and complete estimate of the work needed on the car. They told me that they could provide a very accurate estimate of the repair costs but it would cost $70.00 to provide the estimate since they had to put the car up on the lift and check everything carefully. Despite the cost I told them to go ahead and do the estimate. They called back and told me that all I needed was new front brakes. I told them to start work.\r
Later that day I got the inevitable call from them. Once they changed the front brakes they now found out that the car was still making a grinding noise when they road tested it and that the back brakes also needed ch
