We had a specific used car in mind, and finally found one we liked at Gephardt BMW. Although I think we got a fair price on our purchase, in hindsight, I definitely think we could have gotten a much better price on our trade-in if we would have sold it private-party instead. For example, they were trying to deduct from the price of our trade-in for tires, even though the tires had less than 5,000 miles on them. And we knew the approximate blue book value for our car, to which they responded that they don't really use blue book. Yeah, except when it's to your advantage, right?\r

Also, we bought a station wagon, and they gave us the manual for the sedan. We tried numerous times to get the correct manual, each time they said they would mail it to us, or they would call us and we could pick it up, and they never followed through. Horrible customer service in that regard. Every time they said they would take care of it, we knew they were lying to us.\r
