Review content:
I brought in a platinum ring for a relatively simple repair, and they wanted to charge me an exorbitant fee for the work. At the last second, I backed out and decided to take the ring to Harold's for a second opinion. Thank Goodness!!! Harold's accomplished the repair beautifully for literally 1/10th the price ($100 vs. $1000). I can understand perhaps a $100-$200 difference, but Cronier's price was crazy. I also wasn't impressed by the staff at Cronier's. While one woman was fairly pleasant, the jeweler (possibly the owner) was quite abrupt, bordering on rude. Not a pleasant experience at all. If you need a repair, I strongly recommend you take your piece to Harold's.
