Review content:
Do not hold an event at Crystal Gardens! They treat guests like prison inmates! I recently attended a mid-size wedding there (and was excited to try them out!), and found that on a Friday night they had a number of "guards" posted along the hallway like hall monitors "busting" guests left and right.
"No Coca Cola in the hallway!"
"The room won't open for 4 minutes!"
"Our insurance doesn't cover people in long dresses using the staircase!"
"You are not permitted to look at the other reception!"
I felt like an inmate being bussed through their wedding reception factory, being told to keep my face down and eyes forward, constantly at risk of being lectured. The staff was cold and domineering. And I was NOT a rowdy or drunk guest whatsoever. Other guests were very intimidated by the staff as well.
We all agreed that this still newish, handsome (though cave-like) facility was a huge embarrassment for the bride and groom, and none of us will rent there. BEWARE!
