I took my car in for the 110k mile check up. I asked them to do a bunch of stuff and generally check the car over. They called me later that day with an estimate which was over $1,000. It sounded high for an Acura but it had been a while since I had my car in the shop. About a month later I called them back because some rattling they had addressed the first time had come back. Again I received a call that afternoon and they told me that my front brakes and rotors needed to be replaced. I was quite upset since the car had been in there a month prior for a complete look over and they didn't catch the front brakes issue. I had to go ahead with the repair since the front inside brake pads were so thin. Looking at the bill they charged almost double for the rotors. It seems like they do good work and the shop is very convenient but they certainly are expensive. Make sure you get a written quote so you can haggle.
