I do my best to support local business and even though blackhawk hardware tends to more expensive than the big box store near by, but they will never see another dime of my money after my experience today. I have never received what I would call great customer service when shopping at Blackhawk the associates have always seemed very aloof, but today was the straw that broke the camel's back. I was looking for a specialty electrical part so I figured would call ahead to see if they had it in stock. Once i was transferred to the electrical dept i was promptly put on hold where I remained for over 5 min. When the store associate finally picked up he just said ""YEAH"" to which I replied ""hey hows your day"" his reply? "" BUSY..COME ON WHAT DO YOU WANT?"". I was the one who waited on hold for over 5 min and was still trying to be friendly, this guy shouldn't have any job that requires him to speak with customers. If Blackhawk Hardware expects me to pay more for something I can easily get less than a mile away they ought to treat their customers better than that! Blackhawk hardware in the Park Road Shopping Center has lost my business for good!
