Businiess name:  Speedee Oil Change & Tune-Up Milpitas

Review content:
I have been a customer since this business first opened and have been pleased with the service until now. \r \r On Saturday morning my daughter took her car in for a routine oil change & fluids check. The written report said that everything was fine [including the transmission fluid]. On Monday, while driving back to Sacramento in freeway traffic the transmission went out. The specialty transmission shop in Sacramento said that the transmission fluid was very, very bad - something that would have been easily noticed on Saturday.\r \r From the damage and wear inside the transmission, it was a problem that had been developing for a while. Interestingly, this Speedee shop did the last service of the transmission 7,000 miles earlier. While Speedee is not to blame for the transmission failure, they are responsible for not properly checking the transmission fluid which could have caught a serious problem before it failed.\r \r I spoke with the manager at Speedee in person on Wednesday, he had no explanation for the lapse on their part and didn't apologize for the mistake. He said that the owner would call me, but he hasn't. Another manager did call, but he too offered no explanation or apology.\r \r I can no longer trust the work that they do. Their mistake put my daughter's life at risk. They have lost our family's business.
