Review content:
Apparently the owner has been gone for some time due to several deaths in the family over the past year and just returned a couple of weeks ago. From my conversation with the owner it sounded as though during his absence the manager made several changes that were not to his liking so he has made efforts to get it back on track including hiring a new chef. The owner was very pleasant and made us feel as though we were at his home, but without being in our face. Because we couldn't decide on what to get as we wanted to try everything, he suggested the combos but when I said that they didn't include a couple of the things I wanted he said he would take care of it which also meant on the house. The food was delicious! There was a guitarist that was quite good and very friendly and I'm pleased that he is offered a weekly gig there. It was not busy on this Tuesday night which was nice for us, but as with any local business I hope they will get the support necessary to stay in business as they have only been open for a year. The only down side was the atmosphere was a little weak especially the tables and chairs specifically.
