Review content:
What a treat! I was on a layover staying at the hotel next door. I had already eaten at the other establishments and wanted to try it. I called first to make sure they took C. cards(they did!) I was a little shy of going there first because of the name ""soul"". I figured there would be chittlin's or something. FYI they really should change the name and be more approachable to the other ethnic groups. Hello! there are tons of hotels around there. I went in at 5:30 and not a ""soul"" was in sight. There is no reason why there shouldn't be at the very least a humble dinner crowd. The food is worthy!! The place doesn't look like much, but it can hold its own with the menu. Collard greens, mac and cheese, cabbage, baked fish were perfectly seasoned. I cleaned my plate. The fried chicken was a bit run-o-the-mill and was not hot. But still tasty. Sure would like to have had it hot. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Gee, just change the name to one that tells what you about with out making it seem like other ethnic groups wouldn't be welcome.
Pros: The menu
Cons: The name kind of makes you wonder if all ethnic groups are welcome
