Review content:
Absolutely horrible. There are a half dozen tailors on this street, go to any of them other than this one.\r
\r
Murat's is ridiculously over-priced. $30+ to hem a straight skirt with no lining? \r
\r
They either mis-measured two of my skirts (when I tried them in the store) or hired an intoxicated employee who cut 2.5"" LONGER in the back. Yes, 2.5""!!!\r
\r
I brought them back and one employee suggested they were cut longer because skirts go out a bit over the rear. Now, I'm a petite 110 pound woman. Puh-lease.\r
\r
One of the skirts was simply cut too short all the way around (even with the 2.5"" tail in the back) completely ruining the skirt.\r
\r
Murat's did fix the skirts but I wanted a discount on the ""work"" they did to compensate me for the skirt that was now far too short. Nope. NO discount. NO compensation. \r
\r
European is used in the name for pretense. There's NOTHING high-end or sophisticated about the results. Go to another tailor on the street, or even the block. Far less pretense, less cost and a MUCH better job.\r
Pros: On a pretty street in Santa Monica
Cons: Too many to name, please read review
