Businiess name:  Zentner's Daughter Steak House

Review content:
Let's start from the top.\r \r The hostess was nice and gave us a choice of where to sit. The interior looked appealing so we were hopeful.\r \r When we sat down at the table, everything went downhill. Our server was disinterested and seemingly asleep the entire time we were there, although we were her only table.\r \r The lettuce in the salads was bitter and tasted almost moldy. Croutons were simply slices of bread cut into squares and deep-fried. Gross.\r \r Two of us ordered filet mignon, one medium, the other medium-rare. Both came out well-done and full of gristle. One was not a quality cut--it looked ""pieced-together"" when you cut into it. And this was the most expensive steak on the menu!! I ordered the sirloin which was difficult to cut with my steak knife and very tough. The fries were soggy and limp. Needless to say, I did not finish my meal.\r \r The ""double jack and coke"" was the size of a regular but double the price.\r \r Our waitress didn't seem to care that we clearly weren't happy (she asked how everything was, and I shrugged, hesitated, and said ok...the other two people didn't say anything). She asked if we wanted a box, but we told her absolutely not. I guess she still didn't get it.\r \r Since our server was so disinterested, we decided to see the manager after our meal. The manger told us we should have mentioned it to the waitress and said that she hoped we would give the restaurant another chance. There was no mention of a refund or perhaps an incentive to come back (I'm not a cheap person and don't expect free food, but this was appalling and we didn't finish our meals anyway). We didn't even get an apology--she apologized that we hadn't told our server about the problem.\r \r I will NEVER go back to Zentner's and will make an effort to steer others away from this restaurant. Go to Logan's Roadhouse! We've had better steaks and drinks there (at half the price).\r \r So if you like non-existent customer service, unspeakably horrific steaks, and disappointing drinks, then by all means, eat at Zentner's! Pros: the hostess was nice, inside of restaurant looked nice Cons: manager, service, food, presentation, alcoholic drink sizes
