Review content:
This is a great location on the Big Island and if you can afford the luxury. It's located right off the interstate along the ocean. Seven different pools to lounge or swin in, walk, rail or boat transportation will take you to all areas of the resort. The resort is over a mile from one end to the other. Like most resorts on the Big island, no beach, but plenty of ocean side areas to lounge. If you want to get a good idea of the amenities, check out the web site. Plenty of photos and a web cam that has views of the popular areas of the resort. Want to visit the other islands? No problem since the Kona airport is just minutes away and a travel agent is on property and will arrange any number of excursions for you. We recommend taking a helicopter tour of the island and volcano. We went to Honolulu one morning, toured Pearl harbor and popular locals on the Island and was back in time for dinner that evening! Don't forget to spend some time at Dolphin Quest. Get up-close and personal with the dolphins. Sunsets are spectacular!
Pros: Exclusive, clean, large resort with lots of restaurants
Cons: No beach, high room rates.
