Bar none, this is finest experience you can provide to your children. This was the first ""extra-curricular"" experience my children had, my oldest starting at the age of 4 and the others when they were 3. We initially took for granted how phenomenally good the instructors are with the kids, until we enrolled our kids in other activities, camps, etc. and saw the difference. The instructors at Action HV (who, by the way, haven't changed in the 5 years we have been training) provide an incredibly positive experience for every kid who comes through their doors. They are passionate about the martial arts as a way of life and a way of teaching values to kids. You really won't believe it when you see 15 three-year-old kids concentrating on their class - until you see it week after week after week. They are actually completely engaged in what they are doing, and the full credit for that goes to the teachers. Obviously the way they deliver the message has changed as our kids have aged and progressed to new levels and belts here, but the message remains the same: balance (mental and physical), focus, respect, coordination, teamwork, control. It's all positive, and the kids really get it. The instructors get the kids to believe that they can meet any challenge they are given. And, with the tools they are developing here, plus a lot of hard work, they really can. Not to mention, they know their martial arts. One of the instructors was a world champion, and the Demonstration Teams (Demo Teams) consistently win top honors at competitions. We just stumbled on Action HV 5 years ago, no research, no shopping around. I'm so glad we did. I can't imagine taking my kids anywhere else.
