Review content:
Reviewers on this site who do not attempt to tell of a positive or negative experience, but only try to discredit those who have by mocking a grammatical tone or pointing out a time frame, simply show how the staff of KLA operate. Instead of addressing complaints and concerns of parents with an open mind and doing everything they can to rectify the issues and make the facility a #1 place for the kids, they get defensive and attempt to make excuses. If you do your research, which any parent should when looking for a caregiver, you will find that on the internet alone, negative reviews started being posted in June of 2009. In addition, during the past 7 months, the state has received more than a dozen complaint calls and at least half of them have been investigated and proven to be valid complaints.I suggest calling the child licensing board, child care complaint hot line and the health dept. All three can give you details of formal complaints that have been filed, actions that have been taken and results that have been seen in regards to KLA. It is quite obvious to any open minded person that regardless of how many faithful friends this director has going to bat for her with the anonymity of the web, there are still several fundamental issues with Kinderland and its director that are not being resolved. After seeing that my child was taken outside in cold weather with no coat, arriving early to find him unsupervised and then getting no response in complaints I filed with the director, we have chosen to find a new facility.
Pros: Cant think of any
Cons: Close to home
