Review content:
My mom and I have lived at this complex for about 4 years in total until we moved to California. When you first move in, your apartment unit is clean and the staff is very friendly; especially the apartment manager. Located nearly across from the Charleston Air Force Base, the neighborhood is very quiet. There are alsof few establishments located steps away from the complex like Burger King, Dunkin Donuts, Carolina Bay, a diner, 2 gas stations, laudromat, Wachovia Bank, a Mexican restaurant, a Chinese restaurant (which I do not recommend), and a few others. The bus stop is also easily accessbile if you do not drive.\r
\r
Also, every month the management offers a breakfast where all the residents can stop by the office and grab breakfast while chatting with other residents.\r
\r
I would highly recommend North Village to anyone who is looking to live around North Charleston, specifically off of Dorchester Rd.
Pros: Friendly staff, clean surroundings, swimming pool, parking, quick maintenance service
Cons: School district, pets are not welcomed if you're a pet-lover
