Attention Cape Codders-do yourself a HUGE favor and NEVER EVER buy shoes from Westie's Shoe Outlet! My grandmother bought me a Christmas present the other day and the sales person insisted that I would be unhappy and hurt my feet if I purchased a size 9.5 which is larger than my size; even though I thought I felt better in them, she just kept insisting that they weren't right for my feet. I work them for 20 mins after buying them and got a huge blister on my heel. Tried to exchange shoes for the correct size and the manager was not only rude to me but also refused stating that they had been worn once so they cannot be returned due to a small scuff mark the size of a fingernail on the heel. She recommended next time I walk around the store first.... which I did-she was there! Apparently I should have walked around their store 100 times to see if I would get a blister. We have tried to call the owner several times but no return phone call has been made as of yet. So now I have no shoes and my poor grandmother is out $85. It's too bad because we were prepared to go in an buy more shoes for my boyfriend and another pair for me when we returned them but the manager's rudeness and refusal to work with the customer was enough for us. Also, when I mentioned how the shoes could be written off by either manufacturer or store she told me that that was impossible and business doesn't work like that-interesting comment coming from a 23 year old with no higher education.
