Review content:
Last week I was standing in a basement full of mold and water. I live in Squirrel Hill which is an older section of town and my basement, along with all of my neighbors, leaks. I was told it was something that we should ""just live with"" or ""something we could not help."" For about 6 years I listened to my friends and did nothing. I lived in a home with a moldy, smelly and wet basement. Then, to my amazement, I was walking through the Pittsburgh Home Remodelers Show and I saw Keystone Basement Systems booth. I had no intention of doing anything in terms of fixing it because I though it could not be done. I walked over simply to inquire if there was a way to control the smell of the home. I talked to someone named Josh and he explained that I did not have to live with a basement like that as it was easily fixed. With a bit of skepticism I set up a time for him to come out and give me an estimate to fix the problem...with little in terms of expectation.\r \r Josh came over last Monday and gave me an estimate not only to fix the water and mold, but also a way to control the air quality. He explained how humidity control machines can also create optimal air quality. I was very interested and I had them over Friday to install the system.\r \r I can honestly say that I have never been more satisfied with a home improvement in my life. I just increased my living space by 33% and I can move all the stuff I have piled in the upstairs closets in the basement. It feels so much more comfortable now. My basement is dry and free of mold. I just had a separate company test the mold and they also found that the mold count is normal. I am so happy I felt I should write this email to let people know that you do not have to live with a wet, moldy basement. \r Pros: Joshua English was a great inspector...If you use Keystone ask for him Cons: I did not know this service existed...it should be better advertised
