Review content:
I ended up paying 60% more than their quote, and it took double the time. There was one worker since Mr Lawson is nowhere to be found half the time. And all the while they're making comments about your belongings which makes you very uncomfortable. \r \r In the future I WOULD NOT TRUST or recommend Lawson Projects for any job whatsoever - large or small. \r \r Regretably I hired Billy Lawson for a big job since I needed my whole house painted. I went with him because his quote was lower than the others we had and his reviews didn't seem that bad on Service Magic. BIG MISTAKE! Do NOT trust these guys!\r \r The owner of Lawson Projects told me that he would paint our whole house for the quoted price and 4 dyas since he would bring up to four painters to get it done fast. As it turned out, he only brought one painter to help him since they hadn't been hired in 3 weeks (wonder why haha), more than half the time Billy Lawson had to leave for one stupid reason or another so we really only had 1 painter, and all the while we were getting charged for hours the one painter was working on by himself. \r \r Needless to say, what was supposed to take 4 days took 8, and we ended up getting charged 60% more than what he quoted us. \r \r I could handle the job taking longer than he said, but costing 60% more was rediculous after he specifically told me he was giving me a discount since I'm in the military and I had only been back from war for about a week. Turns out he just a scam artist and I'm telling you this to help you from not having to deal with this ""business."" \r \r 3 more important things to add:\r \r The whole time they were here they were making comments about the belongings in our house that made us very uncomfortable. Luckily I was off work the whole time they were here with my wife, but even then one of them still asked if he could have a computer of mine and all kinds of other stuff that was just weird. \r \r You really have to keep an eye on these guys too. They like to cut corners big time. They would have left our walls with only one coat that you could see through if we didn't demand otherwise. And when they did apply additional coats they were done in such a way you could still see through them from the first coat and worse. Seriously, if you don't watch these guys they will leave your house looking terrible and uneven with unstraight lines. They even damaged our wood floors, got paint on our kitchen cabinets, paint on our carpets, and didnt even paint our front door frame they spacled. \r \r Keep in mind, this is the result of us watching them like hawks the whole time. Imagine if you don't have that kind of time... Imagine what comments or worse they will make about your belongings.\r \r After everything, Mr Lawson was complaining about how he wasn't making enough on this job, and he even went to so far to say he's, ""going above and beyond the work he usually does"", when I asked him the straighten a 10 inch area on our trim that was extremely uneven. That's just one example of many. He was complaining the whole time he was there if you asked him to fix something that looked like crap.\r \r I could go on and on, but you get they point. I've reported Lawson Projects the Better Business Bureau. 60% misquote of money, 100% misquote of time, out of line comments about your property, untrustworthy... Mr Lawson just runs a shoddy business. \r \r You pretty much can't go worse if you go with someone else.
