Review content:
I have been a customer of La Vie en Rose for over 15 years, and I have never been disappointed. Everything about the restaurant is first class. The building has the warm feeling of a French country manor. You enter into a foyer with a large fireplace, espcially nice in the winter time. You will be greated as though you were a visiting dignitary, and seated in a what can be a very romantic ambiance (hint - take someone special with you!) The menu includes fine French entrees. My personal favorites are the mushroom soup, and the canard (duck) confite, which is outstanding. Of couse the wine list is one of the best in Orange County, and expert advice is there if you request it. Of course, how could a great French dinner end but with a souffle, which you might consider ordering at the time you place your dinner order, as they are all prepared fresh.\r

Of course, all of this, amibance, service, and food is well worth the prices at La Vie, which undersandably are on the high side. \r

Merci Beaucoup et Bon Appetit
Pros: Fine dining, in a wonderful atmosphere, with great service and food
Cons: Pricey especially if you have a large group.
