MY WIFE AND MYSELF HAD DINNER AT ABRUZZOS ON TWO OCCASIONS. THE ONLY REASON WE WENT A SECOND TIME WAS TO VALIDATE OUR FIRST EXPERIENCE , THE PORTIONS WERE SMALL, AND ANY TRUE ITALIAN COULD TELL THE SAUCE CAME FROM A CAN, AS IT HAD A TIN TASTE AND WAS VERY BITTER.\r
AS FAR AS THE AMBIANCE WE WERE QUITE UNCOMFORTABLE, A ""LOUD""LARGE MAN SAT AT THE BAR WITH EVERY WORD BEING OBSCENITIES, PUFFING ON A CIGAR!! AFTER ILLINOIS PASSED THE NO SMOKING BAN!!!..SEEMS THE OWNERS FEEL THEY ARE ABOVE THE LAW. IN STEAD OF SMOKING THEY SHOULD BE OUT LOOKING FOR A CHEF...THE PRICES WERE INSANE, AS FAR AS THEIR WINE SELECTION, WALGREENS HAS A BETTER SELECTION. THE OWNER NEVER GREETED US. THE WAITRESS A TALL THIN GIRL WITH LONG BLACK HAIR, WAS RUDE AT BEST WHEN SHE WAS NOT FLIRTING WITH THE WANNABE ""GOODFELLAS"" AT THE BAR.. IF YOU REALLY WANT A HORRIBLE TIME AND FEEL REALLY OUT OF PLACE..AND ARE NOT HUNGRY NOR THIRSTY FOR A GOOD GLASS OF WINE...VISIT ABRUZZOS!!!
