Review content:
My daughter spent a year at this daycare. I ended up quitting my job because she was so unhappy here.
There are good things about this daycare! They are excellent for teaching. If you want your child to get an education while you work, this is the place to go. If you are looking for a preschool a few days a week, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. The problem lies in the daycare program for small children.
My daughter was very frightened when she started which is to be expected, what I didn't expect was that the teachers would basically ignore her and leave her to adjust on her own. She was 2 when she started there, and they just ignored her.
I also had problems with the teachers yelling at the children. It seemed like every time I went there they were screaming at someone. Also some of the teachers were very young, many were not old enough to have graduated from college. I think some of the screaming stemmed from the lack of training and experience.
Another problem was that the teachers were constantly switching in and out. Every time we had a new teacher, my daughter had to adjust all over again.
I could go on and on about the many problems we had there. But I feel that I wouldn't be giving an accurate review if I didn't mention that this daycare is known for their excellent curriculum. They are great for preschool and the elementary school teachers say that their best prepared students went to Little Red for preschool.
I think the key to having a good experience is to put them in for preschool, not for daycare. They are only there a few hours, and they are all spent doing learning activities, and they are still getting love and attention at home, which they probably will not get while they are there.
Also, they were the most expensive daycare that I found in Hebron. That is just one more thing that you should consider when making your decision.
