We went out to eat with friends about a year ago. They took us to Shakeys and my husband and I loved it.\r
I was not sure I would like it as it is a bar and we do not drink. The food was great. I ordered the rib sampler but when they brought it out it was a meal and tasted great. My husband ordered a fish sandwich and the peice of fish was huge. He orders either a fish sandwich or fish and chips every time we go in there now and always has some left.\r
The atmosphere is nice with many tvs with sports playing on each one. Ok, maybe there are too many tvs but it does not take from the friendly atmosphere. On the weekends it does get crowded and there is a wait. The longest we waited was 15 minutes. To us, the food and the price is worth the wait. I never would have thought that a bar/restaurant would have such good food.
