Totally dissatisfied with this company. I called and asked them to come give me a quote for what it would take to repair and/or completely replace my A/C system (it was 15 years old). Apparently they sent a technician and not a sales person, who asked for $60 just to come to my door (they never told me this on the phone). Then he tore the thermostat off my wall, claimed it was the fault, opened the furnace and told my wife it would cost another $300 to ""clean"" the dust off the inside of the A/C system and that would fix the problem, in addition to replacing the thermostat. She called me and I said no, then called their management about the $60 fee for him to break my A/C system. The technician also coerced my wife into signing a receipt for $60 by refusing to leave until she signed it, and also left the thermostat off the wall and wires hanging out of the wall. The manager ""Kay"" proceeded to be snide and rude to me, stating that it was ""soooo hard to put the door back on the furnace."" He insisted I had to pay the $60 fee, which became $90 because the Technician opened my furnace and broke my thermostat.\r \r Never, ever trust this company, they are crooks. I paid the money, and found another A/C repair company. Not only was the thermostat NOT broken, but the A/C coil was plugged inside and cleaning the dust off it like Kearsley wanted to do would have done NOTHING. Chuck Garner @ VERCO is whom I recommend, out of SLC. Cons: Poor service, inexperienced technicians, no customer valued management
