Review content:
I recently moved to the Palm Beach Gardens area, and was looking for a new groomer for my dog. When I first walked in they made me sign a form stating that if anything happened to my dog that they are not responsible, which seemed odd. I have never had to sign a form like that before at a groomer. When I brought my dog home from the groomers he could not open his left eye. He was in so much pain. He kept pawing at his left eye and rubbing it on the carpet, and yelping. I was kind of panicked and did not know what to do, so I took him to a vet's office right away. The vet's said that my dog had an ulcer on his cornea in the left eye that could only be from the splash of a chemical. I was given 2 types of eye drops for my dog, and was told that he could permanently lose his vision if this was not treated properly. I am in the process of giving my dog the eye drops, which he has to be on for 3 weeks. He has been in so much pain! It is pitiful to see my dog, my best friend this way. I went back to the groomers and told them the situation. The receptionist would not let me speak to the groomer, and said that there was nothing she could do because I signed the form when I initially came in that if anything happened to my dog it is not there fault. This is directly there fault, and the fact that they WOULD NOT REFUND THE COST OF GROOMING OR PAY FOR VET BILL IS ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS AND ABSURD!!!!!!!! It's terrible that I have to look at my poor dog in pain every night, and the Groomingdales could care less! I think it is awful!!!!! I would never recommend this groomer to anyone after this experience.
