Review content:
For several years, I used the services of ""A-1 Limo"" approximately once a month for airport transportation to-&-from PHL, EWR, and JFK, with almost no complaints regarding the drivers, though the cars are not always maintained as they should have been (regarding interior cleanliness and functionality). However, I have had numerous serious problems with the administrative and billing end of the business. The charges are often invoiced incorrectly, and always in their favor. The amount involved is usually small (less than $25) and, when brought to the attention of the Accounting Dept., I am usually promised a prompt refund. But that is as far as it goes -- the promise. Actual refunds are never issued and, if pressed, the accountant will refuse to accept my call, and e-mails will be ignored. I have taken such grievances as high as a V.P. of the company, but to no avail. Customer service is simply nonexistent. So, if you do business with A-1 Limo, carefully check the billing statement you receive, as this company has devised clever ways of concealing over-charges and their customers must verify every detail of an invoice. A-1 Limo is not a monopoly though they may do business as though they are, and I now patronize a competing company which adheres to much better business practices.
