Review content:
Over a week ago, I purchased a 1997 Ford Taurus from Jeffery's Auto Exchange. Everything he told me checked out just fine in KBB and CarFax. However, there were some minor issues he promised to fix. So, since I live 22 miles away, I decided to leave the car there until these issues were fixed. When I came back up there 3 days later and drove off the lot, the balance and alignment had been messed with (badly), the top of the dashboard had been cut, a tire had been sliced to nearly the rim, cruise control's fuse had broken, the brake lights were out, the air conditioning panel was broken, the remote entry system stopped working, there was no trunk key (which was supposed to be in the glove compartment), Window Fluid Vacuum tube was dry rotted to the liner, there is paint defects (majorly) and a huge bent in the driver door.\r \r Because of this I took the car right back up to Jeffery's Auto Exchange (after dealing with them on the phone for a accumulative time of 3 hours), from there, Jeffery himself told me that not only are they unwilling to pay for anything else on the car, but they (their mechanics) were reluctant to give me even a free diagnosis (Which most, if not all, mechanics do this for free.). So after a few minutes of debating and dealing with a rude conversation with the front desk, the car was taken back.\r \r They merely replaced the air conditioning panel with one from the junkyard and claimed that it costs them ""$356 excluding labor"". Which is funny, because I could the exact same part of $30 online. No only that, but I had them look at the tire (which I was concerned about) and they told me ""It looks fine. I've had tires worse than this."" And, since they've previously lied to me about stuff on the car, I took it to Big O' Tires. They told me, and I quote, ""All four of your tires look like sh-t and your brake rotors and front brakes are in terrible condition.""\r \r After hearing this, I went back on KBB and rechecked my price. KBB says that I should have paid $1,747 for the car. However, thanks to Jeffery's lies and deceit I paid $3,500. I find this completely irresponsible and ridiculous. I will NEVER purchase from him again and will advise everyone else I know from doing the same.
