Review content:
I bought my husband a watch for our anniversary at this store in Governors Square mall. When he opened it we realized the book that was in the box was not the right book for the watch. We went to the store and were told by Nicole that they didn’t have a specific book for that watch and basically we would have to make due. When my husband explained that he couldn’t figure out how to set the watch she told him she didn’t know how to either, her words were “you’re a man, you can figure it out”. A few days later while in the mall he went to the little watch shop in front of Dillard’s to find out that there was a book for his watch, he bought the book from that store. After trying like crazy to figure out how to set it, he got the time fixed but could never figure out the date. Very frustrated, he told me to return the darn watch. This is where I get really upset with the customer service I was given. I brought her everything (book, box, receipts, everything) she looks at the band for (as God as my witness) no more than 1 second and TELLS me that my husband wore it and they won’t return it. I explain to her that he didn’t wear the watch, and went on to tell her that he couldn’t get it set. She TELLS me that I’m lieing and that my husband did wear the watch. After much discussions, I set a meeting up with her manager. Who cancelled on me the first appointment and then he set up another appointment and cancelled it also. Now I have learned that he no longer works for Ashcroft & Oak. Like icing on the cake; while talking to the Manager Michelle (who is tired of us) on the phone for over 40 min. She laughed at us, mocked us, called us “honey” “darling” and made every effort to degrade us on the phone. I now have the new managers name Justin Hanold and I’ve left him two voice mails. Hopefully he will return our call. Michelle told us that she would take the watch back; we just have to pay for a band of $100.00. My problem is that my husband DID NOT wear the watch, and I will not tolerate being mocked by a professional who should know how to behave. Not to mention the fact that she called me and my husband a liar.
