Review content:
I called and made an appt for my F-250 diesel b/c the speedometer was randomly not working. I had to wait a week before they could schedule me in. Then they kept my truck for a week, only to tell me that there was nothing wrong with the speedometer. A month later, the speedometer quit working again. This time, I drove straight to the dealership, so they could witness the problem. I waited for 15 minutes before they told me it would be a week before anyone could look at it. I explained that it would probably be working again at that point and asked if a mechanic could at least look at it then, just to confirm it was really malfunctioning. The service manager told me he did not have anyone availabe to even look at the speedometer. I voiced my concern that it might be working again by the time they could schedule me in, and he said ""Oh well, then we will just have to keep trying."" \r
I didn't feel safe driving a vehicle w/o a functioning speedometer (plus I wanted to get it fixed while still under warranty), so I called the Griffin Ford Dealership in Louisburg, NC. They were able to look at my truck immediately, find the problem and had it fixed 2 hours later. I would strongly recommend Griffin Ford (excellent, prompt service).\r
Crossroads Ford does have a nice service area--free wi-fi, the ability to drive through a covered area without parking, coffee, etc...but only if you can afford to wait 2-3 weeks for a mechanic to see your vehicle.
