Review content:
In repsonse to John Phillips and Damaris Rodriguez and sister Vanessa,\r
As mentioned numerous times,we need receipts, pictures, of what you claiming, when and if you can produce, please feel free to contact us or insurance company or attorney.\r
You have mentioned the word mold several times, but you made this claim to us two days after you called another company? The boxes of items outside of your garage were bone dry. Sill plates were bone dry. You had no industrial size blowers or anything drying out your basement? Your claiming a loss of $25,000, but will settle with us or $8000.00. \r
Well with that difference, this is way beyond our expertise, so that is why we called our insurance company. John and Damaris wanted us to pay for everything. I was just not willing to pay for something that I have no proof of.\r
Yes we will admit, we switched insurance companies, and unknown to us, we were not covered for stand alone excavation, but have thanked this siutation for making us aware of that and have since corrected that issue. \r
Originally we were hired for inside work and have a signed contract from Mr. Phillips in which we were charged for (THOUSANDS) and thankfully we have a good reputation with the company, they refunded us the next month. \r
My apologies that you live on a mountainside and your foundation is cracked beyond repair. My apologies that your windows are at BELOW GRADE and you have only been in the house since April and probably have no knowledge of past water problems.\r
I remember John telling me how many years excavating experience he has and he knows what needs to be fixed and he knows that the property needed drainage, well that was not part of any contract. And now John and Damaris are claiming they know nothing about excavation. Which is IT John? Who is giving misleading information?\r
As far as the personal attacks, yes our conversation did get intense and my apologies were taken, but Mr. Phillips had his hands up to Chet, ready to fight him as Damaris was throwing window wells around him. THis was a rough scape. Mr. Phillips also got verbal with me on the phone and kept hanging up on me, when we were trying to help. \r
We had visited the residence three times since, after significant rain, and guess what, no water. Ia m sorry that you need to go so low as to post something personal on the internet as you do, but that justifies what kind of people we are dealing with. If you have the courage, there are more professional ways of dealing with this, which is the route I will take. You can not even speak to us on the phone to resolve anything. Do you have something to say, then tell us, call us, email us, fax us, anything, but don't make accusations that are not true, but that you care not to defend. Damaris you went so low as to post the death of a family member on the internet. You should be ashamed of yourself. How would you feel if this was done to you?\r
You can not satisy everyone, but there's always someone like John and Damaris looking for something for FREE. Especially with this economy. They claim they lost $25,000 but will settle for $8,000. That is a huge difference and I know I would not settle for less. We would not be a 4.33 contractor for the past 5 years if we were all the things you mentioned. We have pleased more customers that displeased and anyone who is in business knows that you can not make everyone happy and one thing I can honestly say is that we tried, we tried to help you, we tried to offer a solution and now the only thing we are is a victim of your false allegiations that you are posting on the internet.\r
For this matter, I would say CONTRACTORS beware for customers like this. As much as they state homeowners have to investigate contractors, I guess we have some homework to do with who with customers that we are doing business with.\r
Thank you for time in this matter.\r
