This was my first time planning a funeral for a love one. When i first called to get some information on their services, I spoke with Jim Ansley. He gave me a lot of good information. two hours later i got the call that my family member had passed, i immediately called Jim back and he advise me on the steps i need to take. Which saved me a thousand dollars. Since i was not in town he faxed the information i need to sign to release he body and the price sheet.\r
I arrived in town that following Monday and spoke with him about what was required, he explained some imprortant things to me, such as contact the life insurance company (you need to contact the life insurance company as soon as you can, they take 3-5 days to process the paper work). Jim was professional with his deal with my elder Mother-in-law. Jim came to the chuch to facilitate. a lot of the aspect of the ceremony you wouldn't think about. He even came out to the grave site to facilitate that as well.\r
I felt Jim and simpsons family did a great job in making a difficult situation run a lot less stressful then it could have been. the price was affordable as well. we had to pay for the funeral out of pocket, because of the insurance issues. I read the previous reviews about some of the less than professional actions of some of the staff and i didn't see that when i was there. I'm not saying it didn't happen, and i was looking for that since i had read the reviews before going there. I even told them about the reviews regarding the guys trying to pick up woman. They were not proud of those reviews.
