I love this place, and the location in Cerritos is great too. The aji (chile) sauce is out of this world. In my experience, Peruvian restaurants don't do a very good job on pasta dishes, such as Tallerin Verde con Bistec (pesto pasta with steak). But it was excellent! Major garlic, and a huge portion, enough to take home. The ceviche there is also great, much better than Don Felix or Lola's. They also poured quite a generous serving of wine. They also have sangria. Then we went to the Cerritos location. I like it even better. It is very clean and cheerful and nicely decorated. Both locations play salsa, which puts you in a good mood. My husband ordered Seco de cordero (lamb served with beans) and he said it was very soft, the best he's had in our many attempts to find good Peruvian food in LA. Pros: food, clean atmosphere, lengthy menu
