Review content:
3 days before we were to occupy our summer rental, we were notified that our ""sleeps 8"" had become ""sleeps 6"" because the new sofa was not a ""sleeper"". Of course we had a contract for the ""sleeps 8"" price. Sally, one of the workers, offered for us to use the downstairs unit since no one was staying there. ""We're not big brother!,"" she said to me twice. We took that to mean that if we would be careful we could use all of the downstairs. We offered to pay for the cleaning and she said that would not be necessary if we cleaned it. My wife called to verify this about 1 hour later. She even asked Sally what size the beds were in that unit- and was told ""a double and a queen"". We arrived on Friday to find another family still downstairs until ""Saturday afternoon"". I thought that was odd since Sally had given me the keys to both units on Friday and had told us we could use it. On Saturday we cleaned the place since no cleaning service came to clean it and moved 4 of our family in for the ""rest of the week"". On Tuesday, someone came by to ""inspect the refrigerator"" and an hour later I received a disrespectful and rude call and demanding we leave immediately. We did and vowed never to use Cannery Rentals again (we have rented about once every 2 to 3 years for 34 years!) We were back to using our ""unit for 6"" with a contract for ""8"". Cannery Rentals was rude and did not fulfill the contract of sleeping 8. \r \r Resolution Sought: An apology. Sally was rude and wrong and called me a liar. It certainly was a mis-understanding but her rudeness was appalling. I also want our $50 back for cleaning the downstairs since we did not have a contract for the downstairs. I also want them to stop advertising the upstairs unit on 31st Street as a ""sleeps 8"".\r
