Businiess name:  A Shear Encounter

Review content:
Tucked away in the corner of a small strip mall is a little space of heaven called Shear Encounter, located in Dupage County, Ill. I found some excellent recommendations for a Day Spa called Shear Encounter in the suburb of Elmhurst. Owned and run by sisters Verna and Ginger, I discovered it to be all that I had hoped for. From a small reception area bordered by the busy hair and manicure stations, a visitor is ushered into a plush, quiet seating area accompanied by chilled cucumber water in lovely steamed glasses. While relaxing, the friendly staff is introduced and Verna or Ginger deliver a welcome. I had chosen the Signature facial with brow styling, lash tinting, 60 minute deep tissue massage, and hydrotherapy bath. Each procedure was excellent in performance and equally relaxing and enjoyable. I also expressed an interest in their Body Bronzing. A technique for giving the appearance of tanned skin without the exposure to sun or tanning lights. Ginger, well experienced in the process, gave me a demonstration and instructions in doing the application myself with quick easy steps. We both purchased the products and are amazed at how natural it looks. Four and a half hours of pampering attention left this mother and daughter pair feeling like we had spent a whole day of relaxation and beautification. It is great to know that this oasis is available 6 days a week at such a reasonable cost. I only wish I lived closer to Chicago.\r \r
