I went all around town today looking for a daycare I felt was appropriate for the most important person in my life, my daughter, and Joshua Learning Center was defitnitly the best I visited. First off Shannon made you feel right at home and took the time to chat with me and my daughter for over an hour. Other places that I went to made me feel like I was bothering them and hardly offered any information about themselves and their daycare without prompting from me. Shannon went into great detail about the daily activities she does with the children and about the curriculum she teaches them. She showed me the food menu she prepares for the kids and spoke to me at length about how she loves what she does. I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the facility and how well behaved the children that she took care of were. I was impressed by the interaction and respect that the kids showed for her. Which is saying alot because these are 2-5 yr olds. I am defitnitly going to be sending my child to her and feel completely comfortable at this time leaving her in Shannon's hands. I also loved that she has such a small group of kids because she can take the time to give them individual attention. She only takes a maximum of 10 kids. I will defitnitly update my review after my daughter has been going there for awhile to let you know if my first impression was on the mark or if I was wrong. Until then.....
Pros: SMALL CLASS SIZE, CLEANLINESS, CURRICULUM
Cons: OPPOSITE DIRECTION FROM MY WORK
